The Big 23

Happy Birthday to a dear friend! Julia cracks me up every time her birthday comes around. Each year she tells me that she can't wait to be how ever old she is turning. This has been a great year for her and her many accomplishments, and now she can add turning 23 to the list! Happy Birthday Julia!

Tara...What are these?

While relaxing with Braden at my house on Sunday night, Jake, my little brother came in after his shower and asked, Tara...What are these? He had his shirt off and was showing me red bumps on his body. Friday night he was in the backyard with his shirt off, so I had assumed they were just a few bug bites from that night. I was wrong. Really wrong. CHICKEN POX! The boy has chicken pox!

Caladryl lotion, and baking soda baths to get rid of the itch, are his current best friends.

I have done it. Finally. I have wanted to do a blog for what seems like ages. So, here I am! A new camera next week and a vacation the week after that... looks like I've got a grundle of things coming up to blog about.
